When it works, it's fine.
However, just like some other users pointed out, after weeks (!) of manual translation (since auto translation to Hungarian is pretty much usesless) when I wanted to switch my default language to Hungarian, ALL the translation I have done was gone. Dozens of hours of work.
Even thouhg the warning explicitely said that my translations won't disappear if those were fon in Translate and Adapt.
I contacted support but they were equally useless, trying to covince me for half an hour to use auto translation.
I was hoping to revert back to the point when I pushed that stupid button but apparently the time stamps to revert back don't affect apps, only coding.
Great, I have to start from scratch and needless to say I am VERY frustrated.
你好,很抱歉听到这个。这是Shopifyadmin rather than the app (as this would happen with any compatible app) but it's the same team and we totally recognise the frustration and will do what we can to help. It should be possible to get an export of your deleted Hungarian which you can reupload; we'll get back to you. One thing to check on - it shouldn't be the case that there was a warning saying Translate & Adapt translations won't be lost. There is nothing unique about how the app translates. If you can find something like that please send to localization-product-team@shopify.com . Changing the default language changes the locale code associated with content entered into admin, rather than swapping all the content used in admin for the translations made. We'll work to make that more intuitive.
Looks great but no email ou whatsapp to reach the customer service... I I want to ask if the translated pages are referenced in Google ?
Hi there - you can contact us through support on the app's home page, but yes I can confirm that translated pages are indexed by Google. Thanks!
A decent app but rather complex to use and long loading times. However, lately the saving process hangs a lot and you are forced to reload the page and rewrite the translations. Really frustrating.
