2. Cost per box (CPB)
A slight variation on cost per order, cost per box can give you a more detailed look at your fulfillment spending. 3. Cost as a percentage of sales
Cost as a percentage of sales helps measure how much of your revenue is used to fulfill orders. It’s important to note that the number can vary greatly, depending on the size of your business (as larger companies benefit more from economies of scale) and your sales success over a given period. To calculate cost as a percentage of sales, divide your total fulfillment costs by your net sales, then multiply by 100.
