Debut Theme - Gallery caption text

Hi,

Is it possible to have the text look different for the gallery captions? Currently the text is aligned the same way and is white. I also tried to have one of the images as "image with text overlay" but could not find the code for it. Adding photos for examples of how I want it to look.

Is it also possible to edit the headings in the code? Currently it's on the image and not in the code - so it's not responsive.
