Liquid, JavaScript, themes, sales channels
Hi all. I can't see any answer to this, so I'm reaching out to see if anyone from the community or Shopify can answer this problem. I recently purchased the Minion theme, and it was an excellent investment. Load speeds are incredible, and the number of valuable components meets all my needs. The site now looks a whole lot better since the last updates, and I'm delighted with it.
As I improve load speeds, I'm using GTMerix to analyse the site. I've got a good load speed now, but I'm concerned there's something burning .5s that I can't find anywhere in the template, so it must be something in the Shopify framework, and I'd like to get rid of it to speed things up. I've added the screenshot where there's a call tohttps://stats.softali.netto send some usage stats to what might be the developer. They are based in Ukraine, something I'm concerned about. I wasn't told stats were collected, and I was never given any opt-out, which I would have done.
My question is, how do I get rid of this bit of code? I can't find it anywhere in the theme code, and I can't see it in the page source. It's causing a cross-site scripting violation, and I'm very concerned Shopify has allowed a theme that covertly gathers data and sends it to a foreign nation without my consent.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and it might just help other victims.
PS. Please only offer advice. I don't need offers to quote for sorting the code. Thanks in advance.
