Removing themes
You can remove a theme from your online store within theThemespage in your Shopify admin. Removing a theme is a permanent action. If you want to remove a theme but still be able to access it in the future, then you candownloadit instead.
You can add up to 20 themes to your online store. If you already have 20 themes, then you can remove themes to make room for more.

Remove your published theme
If you want to remove the theme that you currently have published, then you need topublish another themefirst. After you publish another theme, you canremove the unwanted themefrom your store.
