PayPal Express Checkout for India

Set up your account

To use the PayPal Express Checkout, you need tosign up for a new account with PayPal. If you don't have a PayPal account with the email address you used to set up your store, then you canadd your email address to your existing PayPal account.

When you set up a new PayPal account you need to verify your business information, and complete theKYC procedure. If you have any questions about creating your account, then contactPayPal Customer Support.

If you want to issue refunds or manually capture payments using PayPal, then you need to give Shopify permissions from your PayPal account.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, go toSettings>Payment providers.

2. In thePayPalsection, select your PayPal account type.

3. ClickActivate.

4. Enter the email address for your PayPal account, then clickNext.

5. Enter the password for your PayPal account, then clickLog In.

6. On the PayPal permissions page, clickI Give Permission.

7. On the PayPal confirmation page, clickGo back to Shopify.

8. Make atest transactionto make sure everything is set up properly.
