Prices and fees for Shopify Fulfillment Network services
Depending on the type of charge, SFN charges are added to your Shopify bill at different frequencies. For example, all your fulfillment fees for a day are added to your Shopify bill the next day, while all your storage fees for a month are added at the end of that calendar month.
YourSFN chargesare displayed on theChargespage of the SFN app. You can access detailed information about your SFN charges by clickingView detailsfor the month on theChargespage of the SFN app. Your full bills are displayed on theBillingpage of your Shopify admin.

You can calculate and preview your estimated fulfillment rates by using theShopify Fulfillment Network Calculator.
Steps:
- Enter the size, weight of your item or select a sample item.
- Enter the quantity ofitems to fulfilland theitems to store.
- Enter the shipping destination.

The following table describes SFN fees and their billing frequency in the United States.

Determining billable weight
The billable weight for fulfillments is determined based on the following measurements:
For SKUs 1 lb or greater, you're billed for whichever type of weight is greater because both weight and size are important factors for shipping carriers. Gravitational weight affects transportation factors such as fuel costs and which vehicles can be used. Dimensional weight affects the number of packages that can be put in a vehicle.
SKUGravitational weight
Gravitational weight is the scale weight of a SKU.
SKUDimensional weight
Dimensional weight is the amount of space a SKU takes up in relation to its gravitational weight. Dimensional weight is determined by dividing the volume of the SKU in inches by a dimensional divisor. The formula used to determine dimensional weight for SKUs with a gravitational weight greater than 1 lb is (length x width x height / 139) rounded up to the next pound.
For example, you sell a pillow that weighs 1.2 lbs with the dimensions of 26” x 10” x 2”. The pillow’s dimensional weight is calculated by dividing the volume (26” x 10” x 2” = 520 cubic inches) by the dimensional divisor 139, which equals 3.74 lbs. Since the gravitational weight is more than 1 lb and since the dimensional weight is greater than the gravitational weight, the billable weight for fulfilling the pillow SKU is 4 lbs.
Domestic fulfillment fees
When a customer places an order for delivery within the United States, SFN picks the items that were ordered, packages them, and ships them out. Domestic fulfillment fees include the following:
- inbound receiving
- inventory forwarding
- pick and pack
- supplies
- transportation
- support
Most domestic orders are delivered within three days for the majority of customers in the continental United States. Any orders estimated to be delivered within five days qualify for aShop Promisebadge. Fulfillment might take longer than three days based on your minimum inventory levels and product catalog, and for orders that need split shipments.
Domestic fulfillment charges are based on the total number of units in a fulfillment and the item'sbillable weight.
International fulfillment fees
International fulfillment fees are charged to fulfill orders that are delivered outside the United States. International fulfillment fees include the following:
- inbound receiving
- inventory forwarding
- pick and pack
- supplies
- transportation
- support
International orders typically take 7 to 21 days for delivery. Delivery times might take longer due to customs delays.
International fulfillment charges are based on the total number of units in a fulfillment and the item'sbillable weight.
存储fees
SFN charges a daily storage fee for each SKU with units in inventory in our fulfillment network. A SKU's storage fee depends on the following:
- length, width, and height of the SKU
- number of units of the SKU in inventory
- current month of the year
- how long those SKUs have been in inventory with SFN

Domestic return fees
Return fees are charged for customer returns that are sent back to an SFN fulfillment center. The following types of fees will apply to a return:

Non-compliant inbound transfer fees
Inbound transfers that don't comply with SFN requirements might be charged a non-compliance fee when they're received at an SFN fulfillment center.
