Activate EPS
EPS is enabled by default when youset up Shopify Payments. You can adjust which payment options are available to your customers at any time.
Steps:
Payments with EPS
When customers choose EPS at checkout, they're redirected to the EPS website to review a list of participating banks. They select their bank and enter their banking login details. After the payment is confirmed, the amount due is sent to you from their bank on your nextShopify Payments payout.
Payments made with EPS can only be submitted for refund within 180 days from the date of the original charge. After 180 days, it's no longer possible to refund the charge. If you refund a transaction processed by EPS, then you're not refunded the processing fee charged to you by Shopify Payments. Third-party transaction fees vary based on which billing plan you are on. With EPS, there's no chargeback process because the risk of fraud is extremely low. This is because the customer must authenticate the payment with their bank prior to proceeding with payment.
