Uninstalling apps

You can use theApps and sales channelspage in Shopify to uninstall an app, reinstall an app you previously uninstalled, and view an app's entire install history.

Uninstall an app

You can uninstall an app from your store from theApps and sales channelspage in your Shopify admin.

Steps:

If the app you removed requires additional uninstallation steps, then you can contact the app developers by going toSettings>Apps and sales channels>Get supportin your Shopify admin.

Review app uninstallation suggestions

Some of your installed apps might display aLeast usednotification. This notification highlights apps that you might not be using often, and offers the option to uninstall them to ensure you're only managing the apps you need.

You can review an uninstallation suggestion from the app'sAboutpage.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, clickSettings>Apps and sales channels.
2. Click the app that you want to view.
3. To remove the app from your store, clickUninstall app. Otherwise, clickI'm using this appto dismiss the notification.

View apps that have been uninstalled from your store

You can view both installed and uninstalled apps from your store from theApps and sales channelspage in Shopify.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, clickSettings>Apps and sales channels.
2. Select theUninstalledtab to view your uninstalled apps.

View and re-install previously uninstalled apps

TheAboutpage for an uninstalled app lets you view basic details about the app, and perform the following actions:

• View the app listing on theShopify App Store
• Check for any应用compatibilityissues
• Review app history, such as installs and uninstalls
• Reinstall the app

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, clickSettings>Apps and sales channels.
2. Select theUninstalledtab to view uninstalled apps on your store.
3. Click the app that you want to view.

If the app meetscompatibility requirementswith your Shopify store, then anInstallbutton displays in the top right corner.

View install or uninstall history for an app

You can view the install and uninstall history of an app in your Shopify admin from the app'sAboutpage.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, clickSettings > Apps and sales channels.
2. Select theInstalledorUninstalledtab to view installed or uninstalled apps on your store.
3. Click the name of the app that you want to view.
4. Locate theApp historysection within the app'sAboutpage to view install or uninstall events.
5. Optional: Click an event within the app history timeline to view any additional details that are available, such as the uninstall reason, uninstall description, and staff member who took the action.

For apps with a history including more than 3 install or uninstall events, aSee alllink displays above the history timeline, which lets you access the full timeline of events.
