You can use the bulk editor tool to make changes to multiple products and product variants at the same time. From your Shopify admin, you can select the products that you want to change, select which properties you want to update, and then make your changes. The bulk editor displays up to 100 products and product variants at the same time. You can also use the bulk editor to edit collections, customers, inventory, and Metafields.
If you use the Microsoft Edge web browser to edit products in bulk, then it can cause errors due a limited URL length. Consider using other web browsers such as, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
Step 1: Select products to edit
You can select products to edit in bulk from theProductspage in your Shopify admin.
Steps:
- From your Shopify admin, clickProducts.
- Use the checkboxes to select each product that you want to edit. If you want to edit product variants of just one product, then select only that product.
- ClickEdit products.
Step 2: Select product properties to edit
The bulk editor displays the products that you selected and some of their properties in a table. You can change which product properties display in the table.
Each column in the table represents a product property, such as price, SKU, and compare at price. Each row in the table represents a selected product or product variant.
Add a product property
In the bulk editor, clickColumns.
Select all product properties that you want to add to the table.
Remove a product property
In the bulk editor, clickColumns.
Deselect all product properties that you want to remove from the table.

After you select the product properties that you want to edit, you can click the fields within the editor to type in new data or edit existing data.
Steps:
Click and type within a field in the table to edit the product property for that product or product variant.
ClickSave. If any errors occur, then you need to fix them, and then clickSaveagain.
Shortcuts in the bulk editor
To help you navigate and edit product properties efficiently in the bulk editor, you can use the following shortcuts:
