Creating Launchpad events

Create an event to schedule sales, product drops, and inventory restocks.

Before you begin

Before you create an event, make sure that you're familiar with theLaunchpad guidelines and limitations.

Create an event

Open the Launchpad app from your Shopify admin by clickingAppsand then clickingLaunchpad.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, clickSettings>Apps and sales channels.

2. From theApps and sales channelspage, clickLaunchpad.

3. ClickOpen app.

4. ClickCreate event.

5. In theTitlesection, enter a title for the event.

6. In theStart date部分,输入开始日期和时间。OB欧宝娱乐APP如果你不specify a start date and time when you save the event, then the event is saved as a draft.

7. Select one or more of the following options:

   • To release new products, selectPublish products across your sales channels, and then clickManage. This option makes a product available to a sales channel. Launchpad does not change product status and can't publish products if the product's status isDraftorArchived.
   • To add inventory to current products or to previously unavailable products, selectPublish products across your sales channels, and then clickAdd products.
   • To offer products or collections atdiscounted or sale prices, selectApply discounts to your products and collections, and then clickAdd productsorAdd collections.
   • To applydiscountsto products or collections in bulk, selectApply discounts to your products and collections, and then clickBulk discounts.
   • To schedule the event toend automaticallyat a specific date and time, selectSet end date. If you don't specify an end date, then the event only ends when the event is ended manually.
   • Touse a different themefor the duration of your event, selectEnable theme switching.
   • To run specificShopify scripts, selectEnable line item scriptsorEnable shipping scripts.
   • Tolock your storebefore the event, selectEnable password page.

8. ClickSave.

If you entered a start date and time, then your event is scheduled to run at that date and time. Otherwise, your event is saved as a draft.

You canaccess the dashboardduring an event without publishing products or updating inventory.
