In many ways, the members of Shopify’s Guru team mirror our community of merchants. The majority of our team works remotely across multiple time zones and countries. And just like our merchants, Gurus have learned to wear many different hats each day. Many run their own businesses on the side and have first-hand experience solving the questions they are asked by our merchants to help with. In fact, a few of our Gurus even started out as Shopify merchants, before joining our support team!

Shopify’s Guru team is available around the clock to ensure that there will always a human ready to help when our merchants need a bit of guidance. Gurus learn to provide technical support, troubleshooting guidance, and help with understanding how best to utilize Shopify’s features with a merchants’ existing business practises and workflows. It’s a challenging role, but it’s consistently engaging and rewarding.
