Introducing the Next Shopify Partner Accelerator

Last year, we launched theShopify Partner Acceleratorto create physical spaces for select partners to collaborate in four cities around the world. The idea was to enable creative professionals from the ecommerce industry to grow their technical and entrepreneurial skills faster than they would be able to anywhere else.

During this experiment, we noticed that the coworking office space was a valuable perk for our Partner Accelerator residents, but the real value came from their ability to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs in the Shopify Partner Ecosystem — and that’s something that spans far beyond individual offices in four cities.

We’ve seen growing demand from entrepreneurs around the globe who are looking for ways to connect with other Shopify Partners. That’s why today, we’re excited to introduce you to the next generation of the Shopify Partner Accelerator — a digital cohort of Shopify Partners in strategic regions who will undergo a 10-week program to elevate their freelance business or agency to new levels.

For this round, we’re focusing on four international countries where we’re experiencing strong growth, both in Shopify Merchants and Shopify Partners:

• Denmark
• New Zealand
• Mexico
• India

What is the Shopify Partner Accelerator?

The Shopify Partner Accelerator is a digital program that enables creative professionals from the ecommerce industry to come together, work on Shopify projects, and grow their technical and entrepreneurial skills at warp speed.

Our 10-week intensive program will focus on key areas, including:

• Introduction to Shopify and the Shopify community
• Getting started building your first store
• Getting your first client and growing your business
• How to brand and market your business as a Shopify Partner
• Building and customizing themes
• Building an app
• Helping your clients by working with local service and technology providers
• Finding clients and selling Shopify

Successful applicants will receive exclusive mentorship; attend hands-on workshops and meetups; and meet with Shopify leadership, key members of our development team, and long-time Shopify Experts.

This program is for you if:

• You want help improving your business / freelance / web design / development skills.
• Your agency works on ecommerce projects or wants to move into the ecommerce space.
• You’re passionate about ecommerce in your country.
• You want to collaborate with like-minded professionals in your area.
• You want to work closely with Shopify.
• You want to gain access to exclusive resources and training to help you achieve your goals through the Shopify Partner Program.
