In 2017 Ben Ammana decided to launchBoxraw, and set out on a mission to show the world that boxing is about more than just fighting with your fists. Often waking up at 4am to read Shopify’s blog, Ammana relied heavily on Shopify’s online content and customer support to learn about ecommerce and launch his business.
With the brand quickly taking off and a growing team, the decision was made to upgrade to Shopify Plus in 2019. Boxraw now uses Shopify Plus’ User Roles function to onboard staff quickly and manage its expanding team. It also usesLaunchpadto schedule its sale campaigns in advance, and create build up to its sales which frees up time for the team to focus on its vision of continuing to inspire would-be boxers across the globe.
I was a one-man-band for eighteen months while launching the business. I had no experience in e-commerce. I read every single Shopify blog that was on the website and implemented the suggestions for my own business.
